Various whole cell extracts (30 ug) were separated by 5% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with SETD1A antibody [HL2705] (NBP3-48722) diluted at 1:1000. The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody was used to detect the primary antibody, and the signal was developed with Trident ECL plus-Enhanced. Corresponding RNA expression data for the same cell lines are based on Human Protein Atlas program.

SET1A is a component of a histone methyltransferase (HMT) complex that produces mono-, di-, and trimethylated histone H3 at Lys4. The complex is the analog of the S. cerevisiae Set1/COMPASS complex (Lee and Skalnik, 2005 [PubMed 16253997]). Also see SET1B (MIM 611055).[supplied by OMIM]
