FAQs for SIAH2 Antibody (24E6H3) - BSA Free
-
Q: Hi, we are trying to find out if the antibody NB110-88113 (SIAH2 Antibody (24E6H3) 0.5ml Cancer Marker, Stem Cell Marker) will be useful for our application. We want to try to look at Siah (sina in Drosophila) in drosophila larval brains, more specifically in the Drosophila neural stem cells. As in the webpage it says that this antibody recognizes Drosophila Sina we would like to ask if this antibody was tested in Drosophila tissues or Drosophila Cells.
A:
Our SIAH2 antibody with catalogue number NB110-88113 is covered by our 100% guarantee for the detection of SIAH2 in samples from Drosophila by Western blotting, Flow Cytometry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry with both frozen and paraffin-embedded samples. For further information on our guarantee please see the following link: Quality Assurance. The immunogen used to generate this antibody was a synthetic peptide made to an N-terminal portion (within residues 1-100) of the drosophila SINA protein (Swiss-Prot# P21461). Although we show data from human samples on our webpage for this antibody, we unfortunately do not have any images from Drosophila samples that I can share with you at the present time.
