FAQs for SLC22A1 Antibody (2C5)
-
Q: We currently have the SLC22A1 antibody (NBP1-51684), and are in the process of developing a quantitation assay with it. However, we are in need of some kind of standard for the OCT1 protein to generate a standard curve for a colorimetric ELISA. We noticed on the Novus website that the product sheet of another SLC22A1 antibody (NBP1-59464) shows the sequence of the peptide-epitope used to generate that antibody, however we cannot find any sequence data for the immunogen used to generate the antibody that we currently have. The only information we have about this immunogen is that it is a purified recombinant fragment of hSLC22A1 expressed in E. coli. So I guess our question is, do you have any information regarding this immunogen (sequence, size, etc) that you could share with us, or can we order some of the immunogen so that we may use this as a standard for quantitating expressed OCT1? Any information would be greatly appreciated!
A: The immunogen used to create this antibody lies between amino acids 284-347. Unfortunately this immunogen is not available for purchase, however.
