NKG2A, also known as CD159a, is a type II transmembrane receptor having a single extracellular lectin-like domain and a cytoplasmic ITIM motif. It associates with CD94 and is expressed on NK cells and some activated T cell populations. The NKG2A/CD94 complex delivers an inhibitory signal upon recognition of its ligand, HLA-E.

Application: Flow CytometrySample Tested: Peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs)Species: HumanVerified Customer | Posted 06/11/2018The purpose of this staining is to look at the expression level of NKG2A in NK among different HIV-1-infected patient cohorts. The PBMC was stained with NKG2A/CD159a PerCP together with CD56, CD16,Lin(CD3/CD14/CD19). the staining of NKG2A was good.
