Chromatin Immunoprecipitation-exo-Seq: QKI/Quaking Antibody - BSA Free [NBP1-87178]

ChIP-Exo-Seq composite graph for Anti-QKI (NBP1-87178) tested in K562 cells. Strand-specific reads (blue: forward, red: reverse) and IgG controls (black: forward, grey: reverse) are plotted against the distance from a composite set of reference binding sites. The antibody exhibits robust target enrichment compared to a non-specific IgG control and precisely reveals its structural organization around the binding site. Data generated by Prof. B. F. Pugh´s Lab at Cornell University.

Background: QKI/Quaking

QKI belongs to a family of RNA-binding proteins that have an HNRNPK (MIM 600712) homology (KH) domain embedded in a 200-amino acid region called the GSG domain. Other members of this family include SAM68 (KHDRBS1; MIM 602489) and SF1 (MIM 601516) (Chen and Richard, 1998).[supplied by OMIM]

Alternate Names
