Detection of Versican in Human Brain Glioblastoma via seqIF™ staining on COMET™
Versican was detected in immersion fixed paraffin-embedded sections of human brain Glioblastoma using Rabbit Anti-Human Versican Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # NBP1-85432) at 10ug/mL at 37 ° Celsius for 8 minutes. Before incubation with the primary antibody, tissue underwent an all-in-one dewaxing and antigen retrieval preprocessing using PreTreatment Module (PT Module) and Dewax and HIER Buffer H (pH 9; Epredia Catalog # TA-999-DHBH). Tissue was stained using the Alexa Fluor™ Plus 555 Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Secondary Antibody at 1:100 at 37 ° Celsius for 2 minutes. (Yellow; Lunaphore Catalog # DR555RB) and counterstained with DAPI (blue; Lunaphore Catalog # DR100). Specific staining was localized to the astrocytes showing cytoplasmic staining. Protocol available in COMET™ Panel Builder.Detection of Versican in Human B-Cell Lymphoma via seqIF™ staining on COMET™
Versican was detected in immersion fixed paraffin-embedded sections of human B-Cell Lymphoma using Rabbit Anti-Human/Mouse Versican, Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # NBP1-85432) at 10ug/mL at 37° Celsius for 8 minutes. Specific staining was localized to the cytoplasm of connective tissue/stroma. Protocol available in COMET™ Panel Builder.Detection of Versican in Human Lymph Node via seqIF™ staining on COMET™

Treatment of CAFs with combined cytokines or cancer cell-derived secretomes affects ECM protein expression(A) Western blot showing the effects of bFGF, EGF & TGF-beta 1 treatment (10 ng/ml) on the expression of biglycan, decorin, alpha -SMA & versican in CAFs. (B) Western blot illustrating the effects of treatment with cancer cell-derived conditioned medium (CM) on the expression of biglycan, decorin, alpha -SMA & versican in CAFs. TGF-beta 1 treatment (1 & 10 ng/ml) was included as a positive control. Tubulin was used as loading control (A, B). Immunohistochemistry: Versican Antibody [NBP1-85432] - Immunohistochemical staining of stromal protein expression in DCIS with sclerotic or myxoid stromaMicrophotographs displaying HE staining (A-B), & IHC staining for biglycan (C-D), decorin (E-F) & versican (G-H). Panels A-C-E-G display photographs of one DCIS lesion with sclerotic stroma; panels B-D-F-H display one DCIS lesion with myxoid stroma. This figure illustrates that myxoid DCIS present reduced periductal decorin staining & tend to have increased periductal versican & biglycan expression, whereas sclerotic DCIS generally present strong stromal decorin immunoreactivity, & tend to lack stromal versican & biglycan. Original magnification 100x. Image collected & cropped by CiteAb from the following publication (https://www.oncoscience.us/lookup/doi/10.18632/oncoscience.87), licensed under a CC-BY license.
