Endoglycan/PODXL2 antibody in Mouse Testis by Immunohistochemistry (IHC-Fr).

Endoglycan/PODXL2 in Mouse Testis.

Endoglycan/PODXL2 was detected in perfusion fixed frozen sections of mouse testis using 1.7 µg/mL Goat Anti-Mouse Endoglycan/PODXL2 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF3534) overnight at 4 °C. Tissue was stained with the Anti-Goat HRP-DAB Cell & Tissue Staining Kit (brown; Catalog # CTS008) and counter-stained with hematoxylin (blue). Expression of CD99 and PODXL2 in porcine testis. (A) Immunohistochemical staining of CD99 and PODXL2 in porcine testis. Scale bars = 50 μm. Coimmunofluorescence examination of the expression of (B) CD99 with UCHL1 and (C) PODXL2 with c-KIT in porcine testis. Scale bars = 50 μm. Data are normalized by the number of double-positive cells for three independent experiments (D) CD99 with UCHL1 and (E) PODXL2 with c-KIT Image collected and cropped by CiteAb from the following open publication (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34872612), licensed under a CC-BY license. Single-cell porcine spermatogonia trajectories reveal transitions with differentiation and initiation of meiosis. (A) Focused analysis (t-SNE and clustering) of the mitosis and initiation of meiotic germ cells reveals differentiation progression of spermatogonia. (B) t-SNE plot reveal the states in spermatogonia differentiation. (C) Dot plot depicts the expression of marker genes in each state. The dot size represents the percentage of cells expressed and the color intensity represents relative expression level. (D) The correlation across each state and illustrated by Pearson correlation analysis. (E) Expression patterns of new defined marker genes for undifferentiated and differentiating spermatogonia visualized in t-SNE plots. (F) Heatmap of marker genes from each state. Top, cell types; Left, number of marker genes; Right, representative GO terms and representative genes Image collected and cropped by CiteAb from the following open publication (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34872612), licensed under a CC-BY license. Background: Endoglycan/PODXL2

Endoglycan, also named podocalyxin-like 2 protein, is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein that belongs to the CD34/podocalyxin family of sialomucins that are expressed on endothelial cells and hematopoietic precursors, vascular smooth muscle cells, and some leukocyte subpopulations. The extracellular domain of Endoglycan contains an N-terminal acidic domain with several polyglutamate tracts, a mucin-like domain and a membrane proximal globular domain. Unlike other sialomucins, Endoglycan contains chondroitin sulfate modifications. Within the extracellular domain, mouse endoglycan shares 73% and 96% amino acid sequence identity with human and rat endoglycan, respectively.
