Specificity

Detects mouse AMIGO2 in direct ELISAs and Western blots. In direct ELISAs, approximately 40% cross‑reactivity with recombinant human (rh) AMIGO2 is observed and less than 1% cross‑reactivity with rhAMIGO1 and recombinant mouse AMIGO3 is observed.

Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Background: AMIGO2

AMIGO2 is a member of the AMIGO family of type I transmembrane proteins that contain 6 leucine-rich repeats (LRRs) and one Ig domain in the extracellular region. AMIGO2 is expressed primarily in cerebellum, retina, liver and lung. AMIGO family proteins are cell adhesion molecules that exhibit homophilic and heterophilic binding properties.
