Product Summary for Mouse IL-17D DuoSet ELISA
This DuoSet ELISA Development kit contains the basic components required for the development of sandwich ELISAs to measure natural and recombinant mouse IL-17D. The suggested diluent is suitable for the analysis of most cell culture supernate samples. Diluents for complex matrices, such as serum and plasma, should be evaluated prior to use in this DuoSet ELISA.

Background: IL-17D
Interleukin-17B is a disulfide-linked pro-inflammatory cytokine that functions in tumor and virus surveillance. IL-17 family cytokines signal through IL-17 RA, -B, -C, -D, -E, -H1, and -L. IL-17D is expressed preferentially in skeletal muscle, heart, adipose tissue, lung, pancreas, and the nervous system. It modulates immune responses indirectly by stimulating the production of myeloid growth factors and chemokines including IL-6, IL-8, and GM-CSF. In addition, IL-17D can suppress the proliferation of myeloid progenitors in colony formation assays.
