IL‑24 in Mouse Splenocytes.

IL-24 was detected in immersion fixed mouse splenocytes using Rat Anti-Mouse IL-24 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB2786) at 10 µg/mL for 3 hours at room temperature. Cells were stained using the Northern-Lights™ 557-conjugated Anti-Rat IgG Secondary Antibody (red; Catalog # NL013) and counterstained with DAPI (blue). Specific staining was localized to cytoplasm. Reconstitute at 0.5 mg/mL in sterile PBS. For liquid material, refer to CoA for concentration.

Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution in PBS with Trehalose. *Small pack size (SP) is supplied either lyophilized or as a 0.2 µm filtered solution in PBS.

Lyophilized product is shipped at ambient temperature. Liquid small pack size (-SP) is shipped with polar packs. Upon receipt, store immediately at the temperature recommended below.

Background: IL-24

Mouse IL-24, also known as melanoma differentiation-associated gene 7 (MDA-7) and Th2-specific cytokine FISP, is a 27 kDa secreted glycoprotein that is a member of the IL-10 family. It is synthesized as a precursor with a large pro-region that is removed to generate a 155 aa mature protein. Mature mouse IL-24 shares 84% and 69% amino acid identity with rat and human IL-24, respectively.
