Reg3D (regenerating islet-derived III delta), also called INGAPrP (islet neogenesis-associated protein-related protein) is an ~20 kDa member of the Reg family of secreted calcium-dependent C-type lectins. Reg proteins are involved in various biological functions, including acting as a survival/growth factors. Reg3D mRNA is expressed mainly in pancreatic islets and the digestive system. The mature 149 amino acid Reg3D shares ~50 - 70% amino acid sequence identity with other mammalian Reg3 proteins.

Scientific Data Images for Mouse Reg3D Antibody
Detection of Reg3D in Mouse Pancreas.
Reg3D was detected in immersion fixed paraffin-embedded sections of mouse pancreas using Rat Anti-Mouse Reg3D Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB5678) at 15 µg/ml for 1 hour at room temperature followed by incubation with the Anti-Rat IgG VisUCyte™ HRP Polymer Antibody (Catalog # VC005) or the HRP-conjugated Anti-Rat IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF005). Before incubation with the primary antibody, tissue was subjected to heat-induced epitope retrieval using VisUCyte Antigen Retrieval Reagent-Basic (Catalog # VCTS021). Tissue was stained using DAB (brown) and counterstained with hematoxylin (blue). Specific staining was localized to pancreatic islets.
