FAQs for TAB1 Antibody (2A12) - Azide and BSA Free
-
Q: Why is there double band in the blot using TAB1(2A12) antibody?
A: Human TAB1 has two isoforms with predicted molecular weights of 54.6 kDa and 49.9 kDa. And the immunogen of H00010454-M03 has 100% similarity with the sequences of both isoforms of Human TAB1. Therefore, we believe that the cause of double band seen in the validation image of H00010454-M03 is related to two isoforms of TAB1 protein existing in HeLa cell lysate.
