Lactate Dehydrogenase A/LDHA: Products
Lactate Dehydrogenase A is also known as LDHA, LDH5, and EC 1.1.1.27. It is one of five isoforms of the lactate dehydrogenase family. LDHA catalyzes the conversion of pyruvate into lactate under anaerobic conditions. It is also a key component in the altered glycolytic metabolism that is a feature of cancer cells.
