FAQs for CD90/Thy1 Antibody (OX-7) - BSA Free
-
Q: Can I use Cd90/Thy1antibody (OX-7) NB100-65543 for mouse tissue to do Western Blot? What additional optimization is required?
A: Our datasheet says that this antibody can be used in these applications: WB, Flow, IHC-Fr, and IP with the samples from mouse, rat, guinea pig, and rabbit. If using this antibody in above applications with the sample(s) from the species, we guarantee it will produce the positive results, or we will refund or replace the antibody free. [When using in IHC-Fr, the mouse-on-mouse (http://vectorlabs.com/mouse-on-mouse-m-o-m-blocking-reagent.html) will be required]. It does not have any special instructions for using this antibody in WB, and therefore our general WB protocol can apply: Protocol. Our recommendation for dilution in WB: 1:100-1:2000. Use the above protocol/dilution to start a small test first. After getting the positive result(s), you could adjust the dilution factor of the antibody as you are repeating/duplicating the experiment, to obtain the best image(s).

Q: We are interested in CD90 antibodies that could react with dog, please let me know which products in your catalog you would recommend.
A: I would recommend one of theses CD90 antibodies, as these have all been validated for use with dog/canine samples.
