Detection of CD8 alpha in Human PBMC lymphocytes by Flow Cytometry. Human peripheral blood mononuclear cell (PBMC) lymphocytes were stained with Mouse Anti-Human CD3e PE-conjugated Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # FAB100P) and either (A) Mouse Anti-Human CD8a Alexa Fluor® 647-conjugated Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # FAB1509R) or (B) Mouse IgG2BAlexa Fluor 647 Isotype Control (Catalog # IC0041R). CD8 is a dimeric glycoprotein consisting of either two alpha chains or an alpha and beta chain. It is expressed on cytolytic T cells and functions in conjunction with the T cell receptor in the recognition of MHC-I/peptide complexes.
