Islet-2 is a member of the LIM homeodomain transcription factors and its expression pattern defines a subclass of motor neurons. Islet-2 contains two amino terminal LIM domains and a carboxy terminal homeodomain. Human Islet-2 shares 93% similarity with mouse Islet-2.

Scientific Data Images for Human Islet‑2 Antibody
Detection of Human Islet‑2 by Western Blot.
Western blot shows lysates of HUVEC human umbilical vein endothelial cells. PVDF membrane was probed with 1 µg/mL of Human Islet-2 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF4244) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Sheep IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF016). A specific band was detected for Islet-2 at approximately 42 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1.
