Scientific Data

Detection of GPR83 in HEK293 Human Cell Line Transfected with Human GPR83 and eGFP by Flow Cytometry. HEK293 human embryonic kidney cell line transfected with (A) human GPR83 or (B) irrelevant protein, and eGFP was stained with Mouse Anti-Human GPR83 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB10943) followed by Allophycocyanin-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (F0101B). Quadrant markers were set based on Mouse IgG1 Isotype Control (MAB002). Staining was performed using our Staining Membrane-associated Proteins protocol.

Background: GPR83
GPR83 is an orphan G protein-coupled receptor most homologous to the tachykinin and neuropeptide Y receptors. GPR83 is involved in the conversion of naive CD4+CD25− T-cells into CD4+Foxp3+ Treg cells during inflammatory immune responses in vivo.
