WASP (Wiskott-Aldrich Syndrome Protein) is a 54 kDa protein belonging to the WASP/SCAR/WAVE family of proteins involved in actin polymerization. It is a highly conserved protein and is expressed selectively in hematopoietic stem cell-derived lineages. WASP contains multiple domains with unique functions. Mutations in WASP are associated with diseases of the hematopoietic/ immunologic system.

Scientific Data Images for Human WASP Antibody
Detection of Human WASP by Western Blot.
Western blot shows lysates of Jurkat human acute T cell leukemia cell line and K562 human chronic myelogenous leukemia cell line. PVDF membrane was probed with 2.5 µg/mL of Mouse Anti-Human WASP Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB30701) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF007). A specific band was detected for WASP at approximately 54 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1.Applications for Human WASP Antibody
