Wnt-9a (Wingless related integration site family member 9a, formerly Wnt-14) is a member of the Wnt family, which are ligands for frizzled family receptors. Wnt-9a is a secreted glycoprotein expressed in skeletal muscle and heart as well as in B-CLL and gastric, pancreatic and breast cancer cells. Human Wnt-9a shares 98% aa sequence identity with mouse and rat Wnt-9a.

Scientific Data Images for Human Wnt-9a Antibody (326711)
Detection of Human Wnt‑9a by Western Blot.
Western blot shows lysates of KATO-III human gastric carcinoma cell line and ME-180 human cervical epithelial carcinoma cell line. PVDF membrane was probed with 5 µg/mL Mouse Anti-Human Wnt-9a Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB3157) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF007). For additional reference, recombinant human Wnt-9a (20 ng) was included. Specific bands for native Wnt-9a were detected at approximately 30 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 6.Detection of Wnt-9a in MCF-7 Human Cell Line by Flow Cytometry.
MCF-7 human breast cancer cell line was stained with Mouse Anti-Human Wnt-9a Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB3157, filled histogram) or isotype control AA175antibody (Catalog # MAB002, open histogram), followed by Allophycocyanin-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # F0101B). To facilitate intracellular staining, cells were fixed with paraformaldehyde and permeabilized with saponin.Applications for Human Wnt-9a Antibody (326711)
