Lane 4: Rat spleen tissue lysate (20 ug/Lane)
Predicted band size: 44 kDa
Observed band size: 44 kDa
Exposure time: 3 minutes 54 seconds;
4-20% SDS-PAGE gel.
Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% NFDM/TBST for 1 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody (NBP3-33008) at 1/2,000 dilution was used in 5% NFDM/TBST at 4C overnight. Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG - HRP Secondary Antibody at 1/50,000 dilution was used for 1 hour at room temperature.
Immunohistochemistry: TGF-beta 1 Antibody (PD00-17) [NBP3-33008]
Immunohistochemistry: TGF-beta 1 Antibody (PD00-17) [NBP3-33008] - Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded rat spleen tissue with Rabbit anti-TGF-beta 1 antibody (NBP3-33008) at 1/200 dilution.The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0) for 20 minutes. The tissues were blocked in 1% BSA for 20 minutes at room temperature, washed with ddH2O and PBS, and then probed with the primary antibody (NBP3-33008) at 1/200 dilution for 1 hour at room temperature. The detection was performed using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. Tissues were counterstained with hematoxylin and mounted with DPX.

FAQs for TGF-beta 1 Antibody (PD00-17)
-
Q: Does TGF-beta 1 react across multiple species?
A: TGF-beta 1 is a highly conserved molecule varying by just a few amino acids between most species, and thus it is extremely likely to react across species. For example, human TGF-beta 1 is active on mouse cells and vice versa.
-
Q: Will Recombinant Human TGF-beta 1 support the maintenance of either human or non-human cultured cells?
A: TGF-beta 1 performs multiple cellular functions, including cell growth, proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis. It would be necessary to determine the specific conditions for cell growth/proliferation for the cells being cultured.
