Integrin subunit alpha L/CD11a is a 180 kDa type I TM glycoprotein that interacts only with Integrin beta 2/CD18 to form LFA-1, a leukocyte adhesion protein which binds endothelial cell ICAM. Human Integrin alpha L contains a 1064 aa extracellular domain (ECD), a 20 aa TM sequence and a 58 aa cytoplasmic domain. The ECD contains seven repeats that form a beta-propeller structure and one inserted vWA domain (I domain) containing a metal ion-dependent adhesion site (MIDAS). Human and mouse Integrin alpha L ECD share 74% aa identity. A second isoform has a 53 aa insert in the ECD.

Scientific Data Images for Human Integrin alpha L/CD11a Antibody
Detection of Human Integrin alpha L/CD11a by Western Blot.
Western blot shows lysates of human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC). PVDF Membrane was probed with 1 µg/mL of Human Integrin aL/CD11a Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB3595) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF007). A specific band was detected for Integrin aL/CD11a at approximately 150 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1.Detection of Human Integrin alpha L/CD11a by Simple WesternTM.
Simple Western lane view shows lysates of PBMC, Placenta, loaded at 0.2 mg/mL. A specific band was detected for Integrin alpha L/CD11a at approximately 220 kDa (as indicated) using 20 µg/mL of Mouse Anti-Human Integrin alpha L/CD11a Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB3595). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using the 12-230 kDa separation system.Applications for Human Integrin alpha L/CD11a Antibody
