Detection of Human/Mouse Bub3 by Western Blot. Western blot shows lysates of Jurkat human acute T cell leukemia cell line, HeLa human cervical epithelial carcinoma cell line, 293T human embryonic kidney cell line, and NIH‑3T3 mouse embryonic fibroblast cell line. PVDF membrane was probed with 1 µg/mL of Goat Anti-Human/Mouse Bub3 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF5706) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF019). A specific band was detected for Bub3 at approximately XXX kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 8.

The Bub1 protein is a serine/threonine kinase that acts in the mitotic spindle checkpoint by recruiting components and promoting kinetochore formation in the inner centromere. Bub1 delays chromosome segregation in response to genotoxic stress. Mutations or the absence of Bub1 can lead to aneuploidy, chromosomal instability, and premature senescence.
