The heat shock proteins (HSPs) are a highly conserved family of stress response proteins. HSPs function primarily as molecular chaperones, facilitating the folding of other cellular proteins, preventing protein aggregation, or targeting improperly folded proteins to specific degradative pathways. HSP10, also known as HSPE1, chaperonin 10 and Early Pregnancy Factor (EPF), is a 10.8 kDa protein with an apparent molecular weight of 8‑9 kDa that exists intracellularly as a 7 subunit multimer and assists HSP60 in folding non-native proteins.

Scientific Data Images for Human/Mouse HSP10/EPF Antibody
Detection of Human/Mouse HSP10/EPF by Western Blot.
Western blot shows lysates of Jurkat human acute T cell leukemia cell line, A431 human epithelial carcinoma cell line, and Neuro-2A mouse neuroblastoma cell line. PVDF membrane was probed with 1 µg/mL Human/Mouse HSP10/EPF Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF3298) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF017). A specific band for HSP10/EPF was detected at approximately 8-9 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted using Immunoblot Buffer Group 4.Applications for Human/Mouse HSP10/EPF Antibody
