Product Summary for Human Phospho-ErbB4/Her4 DuoSet IC ELISA

This DuoSet IC ELISA contains the basic components required for the development of sandwich ELISAs to measure tyrosine-phosphorylated human ErbB4 / Her4 in cell lysates. An immobilized capture antibody specific for ErbB4 / Her4 binds both phosphorylated and unphosphorylated ErbB4 / Her4. After washing away unbound material, a biotinylated detection antibody is used to detect only phosphorylated receptor, utilizing a standard HRP format.

Background: ErbB4/Her4

ErbB4, also known as Her4, is a type I membrane glycoprotein that is a member of the ErbB family of tyrosine kinase receptors. ErbB family members serve as receptors for the EGF family of growth factors. ErbB4 ligands include the neuregulins, betacellulin and heparin-binding EGF-like growth factor (HB-EGF).
