Lyophilized product is shipped at ambient temperature. Liquid small pack size (-SP) is shipped with polar packs. Upon receipt, store immediately at the temperature recommended below.

Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Background: TREML1/TLT-1

TREML1 is a type I transmembrane protein that differs from TREM in the cytoplasmic region by having two ITIMs (Immunoreceptor Tyrosine-based Inhibition Motif). A splice variant lacking ITIMs in its cytoplasmic domain also exists. TREML1 is found only in platelets and megakaryocytes. The extracellular region of human and mouse TREML1 share 75% amino acid sequence identity.

    Gated on lymphocyte FSC-A and SSC-A populations. Singlets were further gated on by FSC-A/FSC-H doublet exclusion. After primary antibody staining, cells were washED 2x and Alexa 488 labeled rabbit anti-goat IgG (1:200) was added for 20 min. Cells were washed 2x and fixed in orthofix. Isotype control shaded grey, TREML1 in open histogram. <br />Buffer: 2% FCS, 0.5 mM EDTA<br />Dilution: 1/100
