Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Background: HRP-1

HRP-1 belongs to the Hepatoma-Derived growth factor family whose members share a conserved 98 amino acid residue sequence at the N-terminus. HRP-1 is specifically expressed in testis. HRP-1 has a putative nuclear localization signal and may have a role in the nucleus.
