Specificity

Detects human CXCL6/GCP‑2 in ELISAs and Western blots. In sandwich immunoassays, less than 0.04% cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) NAP-2, rhGRO alpha, rhGRO beta, rhBLC, rhENA-78, recombinant mouse (rm) CXCL6, rmMIP-2, rhIL-8, rhIP-10, rhMIG, rhSDF-1 alpha, and rhSDF-1 beta is observed.

Recombinant Human CXCL6/ GCP-2 (Catalog # 333-GC) induces chemotaxis in the BaF3 mouse pro-B cell line transfected with human CXCR2 in a dose-dependent manner (orange line), as measured by Resazurin (Catalog # AR002). Under these conditions, chemotaxis elicited by CXCL6/GCP-2 is neutralized (green line) by increasing concentrations of Mouse Anti-Human CXCL6/GCP-2 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB333). The ND50 is typically 8-30 µg/mL.
