Detects human CD27 Ligand in direct ELISAs and Western blots. In direct ELISAs, approximately 10% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse CD27 Ligand and recombinant human (rh) CD30 Ligand is observed, and less than 1% cross-reactivity with rhCD40 Ligand is observed.

Detection of CD27 Ligand/TNFSF7 in Raji Human Cell Line by Flow Cytometry.
Raji human Burkitt's lymphoma cell line was stained with Human CD27 Ligand/TNFSF7 Antigen Affinity‑purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF2738, filled histogram) or control antibody (Catalog # AB-108-C, open histogram), followed by Phycoerythrin-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # F0107).
Detection of Human CD27 Ligand/TNFSF7 by Western Blot.
Western blot shows lysates of THP‑1 human acute monocytic leukemia cell line. PVDF membrane was probed with 1 µg/mL of Human CD27 Ligand/TNFSF7 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF2738) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF019). A specific band was detected for CD27 Ligand/TNFSF7 at approximately 30 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 8.

Background: CD27 Ligand/TNFSF7
Human CD27 Ligand (also CD70) is a 30 kDa type 2 transmembrane glycoprotein that is a member of the TNF superfamily. It contains a 20 amino acid (aa) cytoplasmic region and a 155 aa extracellular domain that shows multiple beta -strands. It is an inducible trimer that occurs on B cells, T cells, and NK cells. It regulates T cell dependant B cell differentiation into plasma cells and likely to promotes clonal expansion of T cells. Human CD27 Ligand extracellular region is 64% aa identical to mouse and rat CD27 Ligand extracellular regions.
