Detection of Human JunB by Western Blot. Western blot shows lysates of HeLa human cervical epithelial carcinoma cell line and PC‑3 human prostate cancer cell line. PVDF Membrane was probed with 1 µg/mL of Human JunB Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB4456) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF007). A specific band was detected for JunB at approximately 50 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1.

JunB is a member of the bzip Jun family of transcription factors. JunB binds as a homo or heterodimer, with other members of the Jun/Fos family, to the DNA element TGA[CG]TCA. Knock out mice indicate that JunB is involved in erythroid differentiation and hematopoietic stem cell viability.
