Mineralocorticoid Receptor (MR) is a member of the nuclear hormone receptor family. Upon binding of ligand (aldosterone or corticosterone) MR translocates to the nucleus and can form either homo or heterodimers. MR dimers bind to the mineralocorticoid response element (AGAACANNNTGTTCT) to regulate gene transcription. There are four known isoforms of MR.

Scientific Data Images for Human Mineralocorticoid R/NR3C2 Antibody
Detection of Human Mineralocorticoid R/NR3C2 by Western Blot.
Western blot shows lysates of LNCaP human prostate cancer cell line, Jurkat human acute T cell leukemia cell line, and MCF-7 human breast cancer cell line. PVDF membrane was probed with 1 µg/mL of Human Mineralocorticoid R/NR3C2 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB4369) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF007). A specific band was detected for Mineralocorticoid R/NR3C2 at approximately 110 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 3.Applications for Human Mineralocorticoid R/NR3C2 Antibody
