Detection of S1P3/EDG-3 in S1P3/EDG-3 and eGFP Co-Transfected Cells by Flow Cytometry. Human S1P3/EDG-3 and eGFP co-transfectants were stained with either (A) Mouse IgG2A Isotype Control (Catalog # MAB003) or (B) Mouse Anti-Human S1P3/EDG-3 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB7524) followed by Allophycocyanin-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # F0101B).
Preparation and Storage

1-Phosphate receptor-3 (S1P3), also known as EDG-3, is a 378 amino acid (aa) seven-transmembrane
receptor for the lysolipid phosphoric acid mediator, sphingosine 1-phosphate
(S1P). S1P3 interactions with S1P induce a range of responses including
vasoconstriction, brachycardia, vascular endothelial and smooth muscle cell
proliferation and migration, heart and liver fibrosis, and coagulation-induced inflammation.
Extracellular portions of human S1P3 show 74% aa identity with mouse and rat S1P3.
