Detection of GPR52 in HEK293 Human Cell Line Transfected with Human GPR52 and eGFP by Flow Cytometry. HEK293 human embryonic kidney cell line transfected with either (A) human GPR52 or (B) irrelevant protein, and eGFP was stained with Mouse Anti-Human GPR52 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB10357) followed by Allophycocyanin-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # F0101B). Quadrant markers were set based on isotype control antibody (Catalog # MAB0041, data not shown). View our protocol for Staining Membrane-associated Proteins.

Background: GPR52

GPR52 is a class-A orphan G-protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) that is highly expressed in the brain and represents a promising therapeutic target for the treatment of several neuropsychiatric disorders, including Huntington's disease and schizophrenia. GPR52 is a 41KDa seven-transmembrane domain protein (7TM). Mouse and human sequences are 96% identical over the full protein.
