Detection of Human PDK‑1 by Western Blot. Western blot shows lysates of WS‑1 human fetal skin fibroblast cell line. PVDF membrane was probed with 1 µg/mL of Rabbit Anti-Human PDK‑1 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF864) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Rabbit IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF008). A specific band was detected for PDK‑1 at approximately 49 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 4.

PDK-1 (Phosphoinositide-dependent Kinase-1), also called PKB kinase and PDPK1, is a member of the AGC group of serine/threonine kinases. Following insulin, growth factor, or pervanadate stimulation, PDK-1 phosphorylates and activates kinases from the Akt, p70 S6K, and RSK families, and is therefore involved in the regulation of cell proliferation and apoptosis.
The reconstitution calculator allows you to quickly calculate the volume of a reagent to reconstitute your vial. Simply enter the mass of reagent and the target concentration and the calculator will determine the rest.
