TCL1B (T cell leukemia protein 1B; also SYN1 and [p15]TML1) is a monomeric,15 kDa (predicted) member of the TCL1 family of proteins. It is expressed in the embryo and syncytiotrophoblast, and interacts with Akt1 and Akt2 kinase, promoting their activation and the subsequent deactivation of proapoptotic molecules. Human TCL1B is 128 amino acids (aa) in length. There is no definitive structural motif that characterizes TCL1B, save for a unique beta -barrel configuration. Full length human TCL1B shares less than 35% aa identity with five orthologous mouse TCL1B isoforms.

Scientific Data Images for Human TCL1B Antibody
TCL1B in Human Lymphoma.
TCL1B was detected in immersion fixed paraffin-embedded sections of human lymphoma using Goat Anti-Human TCL1B Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF6794) at 3 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C. Before incubation with the primary antibody, tissue was subjected to heat-induced epitope retrieval using Antigen Retrieval Reagent-Basic (Catalog # CTS013). Tissue was stained using the Anti-Goat HRP-DAB Cell & Tissue Staining Kit (brown; Catalog # CTS008) and counterstained with hematoxylin (blue). Specific staining was localized to cytoplasm.
