Detection of CLP24 in CLP24 and eGFP Co-Transfected Cells by Flow Cytometry. Human CLP24 and eGFP co-transfectants were stained with Mouse Anti-Human CLP24 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB6747) followed by Allophycocyanin-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # F0101B). Quadrant markers were set based on control antibody staining (Catalog # MAB0041).
CLP24 in NTera‑2 Human Cell Line. CLP24 was detected in immersion fixed NTera‑2 human testicular embryonic carcinoma cell line using Mouse Anti-Human CLP24 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB6747) at 10 µg/mL for 3 hours at room temperature. Cells were stained using the NorthernLights™ 557-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (red; Catalog # NL007) and counterstained with DAPI (blue). TMEM204, also known as Claudin-like protein of 24 kDa (CLP24), is a cell surface protein with four transmembrane domains and a C-terminal PDZ motif. TMEM204 localizes to adherens junctions between epithelial and endothelial cells. It is involved in regulating paracellular flux and is upregulated under hypoxic conditions. Human TMEM204 shares 88% aa sequence identity with mouse and rat TMEM204.
