Detection of Human, Mouse, and Rat DRAK2 by Western Blot. Western blot shows lysates of Jurkat human acute T cell leukemia cell line, NIH‑3T3 mouse embryonic fibroblast cell line, and PC‑12 rat adrenal pheochromocytoma cell line. PVDF Membrane was probed with 1 µg/mL of Human DRAK2 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB6640) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF007). A specific band was detected for DRAK2 at approximately 42 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 2.

(death-associated protein related kinase-2), also called STK17B (Ser/Thr kinase
17B) is a 45 kDa member of the DAPK (death-associated protein kinase) family.
It is expressed mainly in lymphoid organs by mature T cells and B cells. It is
autophosphorylated on Ser12 after TCR stimulation and negatively regulates TCR
signaling. Ultraviolet light causes phosphorylation on Ser350 and translocation
to the nucleus to stimulate apoptosis. Within the region used as an immunogen,
human DRAK2 shares 95% amino acid (aa) identity with mouse and rat DRAK2 while
mouse and rat DRAK2 share 99.5% aa identity.
