Integrin-linked kinase (ILK) is an ankyrin repeat-containing serine/threonine protein kinase that interacts with the cytoplasmic domain of beta 1 and beta 3 integrins. ILK functions with multiple binding partners to transmit signals from the extracellular matrix to actin filaments, regulating such processes as cellular attachment, cell cycle progression, and cytoskeletal organization. ILK kinase activity is induced by PI3 kinase and negatively regulated by the tumor suppressor PTEN.

Scientific Data Images for Human/Mouse/Rat ILK Antibody
Detection of Human/Mouse/Rat ILK by Western Blot.
Western blot shows lysates of HeLa human cervical epithelial carcinoma cell line, MCF-7 human breast cancer cell line, C2C12 mouse myoblast cell line, and PT18 mouse mast/basophil cell line. PVDF membrane was probed with 1 µg/mL Mouse Anti-Human/Mouse/Rat ILK Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB4266) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF007). For additional reference, recombinant human ILK (1 ng) was included. A specific band for ILK was detected at approximately 59 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 3.Applications for Human/Mouse/Rat ILK Antibody
