Scientific Data Images for Human Galectin‑3 Antibody
Detection of Human Galectin‑3 by Western Blot.
Western blot shows lysates of COLO 205 human colorectal adenocarcinoma cell line, MCF‑7 human breast cancer cell line, and U‑118‑MG human glioblastoma/astrocytoma cell line. PVDF membrane was probed with 0.2 µg/mL of Mouse Anti-Human Galectin‑3 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB11542) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF018). A specific band was detected for Galectin‑3 at approximately 28 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1.Detection of Galectin-3 in Human Blood Monocytes by Flow Cytometry.
Human peripheral blood monocytes were stained with Mouse Anti-Human Galectin-3 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB11542, filled histogram) or isotype control antibody (Catalog # MAB004, open histogram), followed by Phycoerythrin-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # F0102B). To facilitate intracellular staining, cells were fixed with paraformaldehyde and permeabilized with saponin.Applications for Human Galectin‑3 Antibody
