Adiponectin, also known as Adipocyte complement-related protein of 30 kDa (Acrp30), is a secreted adipose tissue-specific protein. It is an anti-atherogenic, anti-diabetic and anti-inflammatory hormone that plays important roles in the regulation of lipid and glucose metabolism. Rat Adiponectin/Acrp30 shares 91% and 83% amino acid sequence homology with mouse and human Adiponectin/Acrp30, respectively.

Scientific Data Images for Rat Adiponectin/Acrp30 Antibody
Detection of Rat Adiponectin/Acrp30 by Western Blot.
Western blot shows lysates of rat adipose tissue and rat mammary gland tissue. PVDF membrane was probed with 0.25 µg/mL of Mouse Anti-Rat Adiponectin/Acrp30 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB3100) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF018). A specific band was detected for Adiponectin/Acrp30 at approximately 33 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1.Adiponectin/Acrp30 in Rat Adipocytes.
Adiponectin/Acrp30 was detected in Immersion fixed rat mesenchymal stem cells differentiated into adipocytes with Human/Mouse/Rat StemXVivo Adipogenic Supplement (Catalog # CCM011) using Mouse Anti-Rat Adiponectin/Acrp30 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB3100) at 10 µg/mL for 3 hours at room temperature. Cells were stained using the NorthernLights™ 557-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (red; Catalog # NL007) and counterstained with DAPI (blue). Specific staining was localized to cytoplasm.
