Visualization of an Apoptotic Rat Cardiac Myocyte using the CardioTACS In situ Detection Kit
Rat heart tissue was fixed in 4% formaldehyde overnight and paraffin-embedded. Five micron sections were prepared and placed onto glass microscope slides. Samples were processed following the CardioTACS Kit protocol (Catalog # 4827-30-K) and visualized by light microscopy. Photo was provided courtesy of Dr. J. Zhang, FDA.

Mammary tumor was fixed in 4% paraformaldehyde overnight and paraffin-embedded. Five micron sections were prepared and placed onto glass microscope slides. The sample was processed following the TumorTACS Kit protocol (Catalog # 4815-30-K). Brown stained nuclei indicated apoptotic cells.

Visualization of Apoptotic Cells in Vascular Tissue
TIssue from the small artery of rat was formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded following the initiation of drug-induced apoptosis. The tissue was processed according to the protocol in the VasoTACS Kit (Catalog # 4826-30-K) and visualized by light microscopy.
