Scientific Data Images for Human FABP4/A‑FABP Antibody
Detection of Human, Mouse, and Rat FABP4/A‑FABP by Western Blot.
Western blot shows lysates of human heart tissue, rat heart tissue, mouse heart tissue, human adipose tissue, rat adipose tissue, and mouse adipose tissue. PVDF membrane was probed with 1 µg/mL of Goat Anti-Human FABP4/A-FABP Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF3150) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG Secondary Antibody (HAF019). A specific band was detected for FABP4/A-FABP at approximately 14 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1.FABP4/A‑FABP in Human Bladder Cancer Tissue.
FABP4/A-FABP was detected in immersion fixed paraffin-embedded sections of human bladder cancer tissue using Goat Anti-Human FABP4/A-FABP Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF3150) at 3 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C. Tissue was stained using the Anti-Goat HRP-DAB Cell & Tissue Staining Kit (brown; CTS008) and counterstained with hematoxylin (blue). Specific staining was localized to cytoplasm. Simple Western lane view shows lysates of human heart tissue and mouse heart tissue, loaded at 0.2 mg/mL. A specific band was detected for FABP4/A-FABP at approximately 19 kDa (as indicated) using 10 µg/mL of Goat Anti-Human FABP4/A-FABP Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF3150) followed by 1:50 dilution of HRP-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF109). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using the 12-230 kDa separation system.Human/Mouse FABP4/A‑FABP ELISA Standard Curve.
Recombinant Human/Mouse FABP4/A‑FABP protein was serially diluted 2-fold and captured by Rat Anti-Human/Mouse FABP4/A‑FABP Monoclonal Antibody (MAB3150) coated on a Clear Polystyrene Microplate (DY990). Goat Anti-Human FABP4/A‑FABP Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF3150) was biotinylated and incubated with the protein captured on the plate. Detection of the standard curve was achieved by incubating Streptavidin-HRP (DY998) followed by Substrate Solution (DY999) and stopping the enzymatic reaction with Stop Solution (DY994).Applications for Human FABP4/A‑FABP Antibody
ELISA
This antibody functions as an ELISA detection antibody when paired with Rat Anti-Human/Mouse FABP4/A‑FABP Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB3150).
This product is intended for assay development on various assay platforms requiring antibody pairs. We recommend the Human FABP4/A-FABP DuoSet ELISA Kit (Catalog # DY3150-05) for convenient development of a sandwich ELISA or the Human FABP4 Quantikine ELISA Kit (Catalog # DFBP40) for a complete optimized ELISA.
